[Jay’s Narration]I came out of my room the next morning around 8:00 a.m. to be greeted by Melly. We exchanged pleasantries and headed for the kitchen.“So Mom and Rachel are on the veranda having breakfast. Mom told me to tell you to stay away,” said Melly.“Oh crap,” I exclaimed.“Yeah, mom caught her heading for your room this morning and pulled her downstairs.”***[Rachel Narration]I slept well and woke up early. I thought I might go wake up Jay and get some alone time. I had just made the right to Jay’s room when I heard my name. I turned to be greeted by Mrs. Donner.“Go morning Mrs. Donner,” I said.“Go moring dear, and please call me Katherine. Would you care to join me for coffee and croissants?”“Oh, ah… sure, Katherine,” I responded. We made our way downstairs and into the enormous kitchen to be greeted by a couple of women.“Allow me to introduce my good friend and assistant, Betty Graves, and my good friend and chef, Angela Morrison.”I greeted the pair and was handed coffee and the most beautiful fluffy croissant roll ever. Katherine and I made our way out to a large patio that overlooked a pool and distant mountains.“So Rachel dear, did you keep the promise you made me when you were here last time?” “Yes, mam, I did until Jay let the cat out of the bag a month ago, and still, I didn’t tell the other girls everything. I just didn’t lie to questions they started asking.”“So, what changed all of a sudden? You and I were both under the impression Jason had become gay,” asked Katherine.“Well, Katherine, it was me. I was drunk and horny after a guy dumped me at a bar one night. I called Jay to come and get me, which he did, and well, I asked him to have sex with me. We talked a bit, and it came out that I thought he was gay, and he adamantly denied being gay. We figured out that he was just super shy and afraid of being rejected. Anyway, we had sex, and I took his virginity, then we woke the next morning and ended up getting caught by the other girls.”“So how did it come about that he slept with all four of you?” She asked.“Well… I guess you would have to understand the bond between the five of us. To be fair, I’m pretty sure Connie and I have always loved Jay, but Heather and Sue grew close to him over the years. The five of us go everywhere together; we have brunch at the same place every Sunday. We take as many classes together as we can, study together, party together, go to movies together. We know a lot about each other, our deepest secrets, our darkest desires. And, there is nothing we wouldn’t do for one another. Because of that dedication to one another, we made the musketeer pact. You know, the ‘All for one and one for all.’ We experience life together, and except for sex, we shared every experience. That is until a month ago. After the girls caught me having sex with Jay, and it was determined he wasn’t gay, we all decided that to stay equal, each of us needed to have sex with Jay. Jay agreed, and so we all took a turn going on a date with him.”“Tell me about these dates,” requested Katherine.“Jay recently took each of us on what I can only describe as the perfect fantasy date. If I didn’t know him so well, I would have said he was just trying to buy us. It wasn’t the amount of money spent that impressed us, though. He showed each of us how much he had paid attention. The dates were perfectly geared to each of us. We all dream about the perfect date, but almost no one ever has one. Jason gave us that, and it just made us love him more. We thought of having him choose the one of us he loved the most, but we realized it was all or none. He can’t live without us, and we can’t live without him.”“You know polyamory relationships rarely work out,” responded Katherine. “With sex comes emotion, it’s difficult for a man to keep up with the emotional baggage that comes with one woman, but four.”“Five actually,” I responded.“Five!” exclaimed Katerine.“Yes, the fifth is Brandi, she’s been a casual friend for about a year now. To give Jay more confidence, the four of us, well three of us decided Jay needed to date other women besides us.”“Why only three of you?” Katherine asked.“How should I put this… All of us are in love with Jay, and we all loved him deeply as our best friend and confidant, but one of us is a little more… smitten.”“And who is that?” asked Katherine.“You know what… I’m going to let you figure that out. I’ll bet by the time we leave; you’ll know which one of us it is.”“Oh, a challenge you offer. Not to worry, sweetheart, by the end of the week, I’ll have extracted everything I need to know,” answered Katherine.Katherine and I finished our breakfast over chit chat, but I had a feeling every question she asked had a purpose. We walked into the kitchen to find Connie, Sue, Melly, and Jay talking to Betty and Angela. “Where’s Heather?” I asked.“She was here, she had a cup of coffee and said she was going for a quick run,” said Jay.***[Jay’s Narration]Melly and I went down to breakfast to find Heather having coffee and talking to Mrs. Graves and Angela. Angela had been a lifelong friend of my mothers and runs a catering business that my dad owned half interest in. She has a catering shop in town but also cooks for my family on special occasions. When my dad had the house build, Angela designed our kitchen. The kitchen would have even impressed the likes of Gordan Ramsey.Heather, Betty, and Angela seemed to be getting along and having a laugh when Melly and I walked in. almanbahis şikayet I had feared when I heard both Betty and Angela were here at breakfast. Betty wasn’t usually around for the holidays, and Angela would often be here closer to dinner. Them being here so early could mean only one thing, mom had enlisted their help in grilling the girls.Heather finished her coffee and was going for a run, just as Connie and Sue walked into the kitchen. I heard Heather whisper “Good Luck” to Connie and Sue as she walked out.“Jay, I thought you’d be visiting Bullet this morning,” asked Angela.“Oh, I’ll probably take the girls later to visit him. Is my dad home yet?” I asked.“Jeff went to get your dad, they should be here around 2:00,” answered Betty.“Betty, you’re not usually here at Thanksgiving, don’t you usually spend the day with your family?” I asked.Betty and Angela both gave me a sly smile. “Normally, yes, but most of my family went on a trip this year, so your mom invited me to have Thanksgiving with your family,” answered Betty. We all sat around the large kitchen counter drinking coffee and eating croissants. Melly, Angela, and Betty started conversing with Connie and Sue. They pretty well left me out of the conversation. The conversation wasn’t serious mind you, mostly idle chit chat. I could tell the questions geared to retrieve specific information about the girls. Like, where they were from; what was it like growing up in that town; why did they choose that college degree. But, everything was rolled into a general conversation, versus just asking pointed questions.I just sat back and watched while sipping my coffee. It was amusing watching Connie work her magic. Connie had that sweet southern charm on full, and she was taking opportunities to suck in Betty and Angela. If either of them said the wrong thing, Connie would pounce on them like a cat to a couple of mice.Things were just getting interesting when Rachel and my mom walked in. They joined in the conversation for a bit until mom asked Angela to show her where the champaign was stored. I knew this was a ruse so she could talk to Angela, but just let it slide.Mom and Angela came back with a couple of bottles of champaign and made mimosa. We all chatted and drank for a few more minutes before mom wandered over to Connie and asked her if she’d like to take a walk. [Connie’s Narration]I left the kitchen with Katherine. We left the house and headed down a trail that ran into the distance. We chatted about the weather, the plane trip, favorite stores, and such until Katerine decided to start her real conversation.“Angela told me to watch out with you; you know why she would say that?” Katherine asked. In my most southern bell voice, I answered: “Why, whatever do you mean, Mrs. Donner.”Katherine chuckled, “Let’s make each other a promise not to treat each other like fools.”“Done!” I replied.“So, where is your place with this group?” asked Katherine.“I’m kind of a leader. I mean, we all make decisions, but I keep everyone organized.”“How did you meet my son?”“Oh, well actually a few weeks after school started our freshman year, I threw my drink in my then cheating boyfriends face, and half of it ended up landing on Jay. He and Rach were so sweet and understanding, Jay, even bought me another drink. After that, we just became the best of friends.”“And when did you become romantically involved with Jay?”“Rachel told me Jay was gay while he was getting my drink, so I had always believed he was out of reach until a little over a month ago.”“Yes,” Katherine responded. “Rachel told me about that, but why did all of you have to sleep with him?”“Well, Katherine… I guess… well, Jay is the best friend any of us have ever had, and after Rach had sex with him… I guess you could say he was the perfect pear with a single bite taken out. We all decided that we all had to have a bite. I don’t know if I can explain it any better.”“I understand, dear, but why keep at it? Why not all go back to equal and stop there?”“Oh, well that’s easy, we are all in love with him. Jay hooked me after one bite for life.” I responded.“That sounds pretty serious; I mean life. Do you want to marry him?” asked Katherine.“Yes, I would marry Jay today if I could.”“That’s pretty intense for such a new relationship, are you sure you shouldn’t think about it a while.”“No, mam, I love Jay with all of my heart. I used to be able to see my future; I could see different outcomes that all had me a career woman. It’s different now then it was, now all my future dreams have Jay in them, and I honestly can’t fathom a future without him in it.”“You’re the one,” Katherine stated.“Excuse me, mam.”“Oh nothing dear, why don’t you tell me a little more about yourself?”“Well, my full name is Connie Jean Hamilton, and I’m from Macon, Georgia. Some people refer to me as a real-life southern bell. I grew up on a plantation that’s been in my family since the early eighteen hundreds. I’ve been to cotillions, debutante balls, the works.”“So how big is this plantation?” Katherine asked.“Oh, I think we own something like five-hundred acres, but my family leases or manages thousands of acres. Daddy is not your average farmer. He has degrees in both commercial agriculture and chemical engineering. My grandfather still grew cotton before daddy took over fifteen years ago. Now he grows vegetables for supermarket chains. He also patented a new soil analyzer that robotically moves around almanbahis canlı casino a field testing and sending data back to a computer system. The information gets fed into a GPS controlled fertilizer tractor that automatically adjusts the chemical concentrations of the fertilizer to exact need.”“Your father sounds like a brilliant man; what about your mother?”“My mother was a debutante like me, she has a law degree, but never practiced. She runs the family foundation and plans events, like the cotillions, charity events, and the like.”“So it sounds like your family is very wealthy,” Katherine states.“Well, mam, I’m sure you’ll understand better than most. We aren’t independently wealthy like say, Warren Buffet, but we have access to wealth and the privileges and opportunities that affords. We share the wealth between recognized members of the Hamilton family. While my immediate family has some independent wealth, it’s nothing compared to the Hamilton Family Trust.”“Yes, we have friends with family trusts. Some trust funds make Warren Buffet look like a pauper.” We both laughed.“My dad told me once how much the trust was worth, and all I can say is,” In my most southern bell accent. “Warren Buffet would be pea-green with envy.”“I have two older brothers, David, and Jonathan, that work with my dad farming, and I have a younger sister that started college this year.” “Connie, dear, how do you see this thing with Jason moving beyond where you are right now?” asked Katherine.“I honestly don’t know, all I do know is I love that boy with all of my heart, and if being with him means I have to share him with three, four, or ten other girls, then share him I will,” I responded.“But sweetie, you are… well not to put too fine a point on it, but you are simply gorgeous, you could have any man you want, why Jason?”“The heart wants what the heart wants, and besides, no one has ever made me feel as good as Jay, physically or emotionally. From the first minute I met that boy, he has made my heart flutter.”“Rachel told me there’s another girl, and that she’s new to the group. Tell me about that?” asked Katherine.“The girls thought Jay should get more experience. We told him to ask out one of our other friends, Brandi. Brandi has been a friend for about a year. She’s an artist but was always kind of a downer. We all liked her; she just seemed depressed most of the time. Jay asked her out, and like the rest of us, he blew her socks off. We were in the middle of a group encounter when she walked in a caught us after her date with Jay. Amazingly, she didn’t get freaked out by it and joined us.”“So, all of you have sex at the same time?”“Some times we do, not every time. We mostly just do what feels right at the time. Some times its one on one, other times two on one, and still other times it may just be a couple of us girls.”“Don’t you get jealous?” asked Katherine.“I guess I did a bit when he went out with Brandi, but I guess it was more fear that I’d lose him, more than being jealous. No one has ever challenged me or been able the keep up with me the way Jay does. I have anger issues, and no one can calm me the way he does. I was so afraid, and the girls kept me away from the one person that could calm me.”“I don’t know how you do it, I trust John implicitly, but I’d divorce him in a second if he ever cheated on me.” Responded Katherine.“The difference is that Jay isn’t cheating; we are all lovers and friends. I or any of the girls would be upset with Jay or one another if one of us had sex with someone outside of our sextet.”“Do you have any reservations about any of the other girls?”“Not really reservations, we were all best friends first, so it made the transition to lovers easier. I guess the two girls that give me the most pause are Heather and Brandi. Not because they would hurt Jay, but more because they’re so different from the rest of us.”“How are they so different?” asked Katherine.“Don’t get me wrong, they’re great people, it’s just Brandi is an artist, she’s brilliant but looks at the world differently. Heather has changed a lot because of Jay, but she used to be a wild party girl. I’m just afraid that one day, Jay won’t be enough.”“So you think you, Rachel, and Susan are more in tune with Jay?”“I think the three of us are more like Jay, but then Heather owes Jay a lot, and she seems to be satisfied with our relationship. Brandi is new, and I don’t know her as intimately as the others.”“Thank you for your honesty. All I want is the best for my son, and while I can’t say I understand a… sextet, if it makes my son happy… I guess I can live with it. Just understand, I’m going to do what mothers do, and keep a close eye.”“I would expect nothing less,” I responded.Katherine and I spoke a little more as we returned to the house. We found everyone in the library talking to Jay’s dad. Katherine introduced me to John, and we joined in the conversation. [Jay’s Narration]My dad came home just after noon, but Mom and Connie were still out walking. Apparently, my dad wasn’t aware of my bringing guest’s home for Thanksgiving. Still, he was very gracious as I introduced him to Rachel, Heather, and Sue. He asked us all into the library for a cocktail. The library also had a bar area where my dad kept all his liquor. My dad was a real connoisseur of fine liquor. His favorite is Dalmore Scotch, but he had every type of liquor in the most expensive brands. “So ladies,” my dad asked, almanbahis casino “have any of you ever experienced a twenty-five-year-old single malt scotch?”“I have,” said Heather. “My dad loves the stuff.”“Oh, what does your dad do for a living?” dad asked.“He’s like you, investment banking, venture capital, real estate, and such.”My dad looks at heather intently for a moment, “Wait, I know you, or at least I’ve seen your picture before. You’re Angus McClaven’s daughter.”“Yes, sir,” Heather responded.“How did you meet my son?”“We met in college our first year, and have been friends ever since,” Heather responded.“Small world, I’ve been doing business with your father for fifteen years. Your dad speaks of you like you’re his finest achievement in life. I expected you to be glowing like an angel if I ever we met.”“That’s surprising sir, my dad and I haven’t exactly gotten along the past few years,” Heather responded.“Sweetie, even soiled jewels, look beautiful in the right light. I haven’t approved of every choice my children have made, but even in their darkest hour, they still sparkle in my eyes. Knowing Angus the way I do, there is no height he wouldn’t climb to get to you.”“Thank you, sir, I’m sure you’re right,” answered Heather. It was at that point mom and Connie walked in. Dad walked over and gave mom a kiss and hug, and mom introduced him to Connie.“I see you’re getting acquainted with the ladies,” mom stated.“Yes, such lovely friends our son brought home, but why didn’t you tell me he was bringing friends home?” dad asked.“They are all terrific friends to our son, but… they’re also his companions,” mom retorted.“Companions, as in..”“Yes, dear, as in they’re all together… plus one more that wasn’t able to join us,” said mom.The girls had now surrounded me as mom and dad spoke. Dad looked over at us, then back at mom, then back at us and mouths ‘All of you?’ The girls look at me, then again at my dad, and shake their heads yes.“Woah, I think I’m going to have to crack a forty-five for this,” dad exclaimed.Dad went behind the bar and laid out eight glasses and opened a forty-five-year-old Dalmore. He poured an equal amount in each glass and put the bottle back. “Ladies, son, please take a glass,” dad said.I heard Heather whisper to the others, “Savor this; there is about five-hundred-dollars in each of those glasses.”“Mr. Donner, how about we crack that ‘180’ back there?” asked Heather as she retrieved her glass.Dad smiled and chuckled, “Please, Heather, call me John, and no, but you’re a funny girl.”“What’s the joke, what’s a ‘180’?” asked Sue.“It’s an expensive bottle of Dalmore Scotch, those foolish old men with money pay too much for dear,” said my mom while glaring at my dad.Dad raised his glass, “A toast; to my wonderful family and all the joy and happiness they’ve brought me, to old friends and new, and to the future, may it bring us all happiness.”We all sat around talking until mom meandered over to Sue and asked Sue to join her. They walked out of the room as the rest of us talk to my dad.[Sue’s Narration]Katherine guided me into an alcove off the kitchen. The alcove was facing a garden that hid everything but the distant view of the countryside. Four comfortable chairs surrounded a low table. After being seated, Angela brought in tea and butter cookies. Katherine asked how I took my tea and served me a cup while we chatted about general topics.“So dear, as I’m sure you’re aware, I’m trying to learn more about the beautiful young ladies my son brought home. I find one on one conversations to be the most fruitful. I hope you don’t mind?”“Not at all, Katherine. Jay is a wonderful man that’s been through a lot. It’s only natural for you to be concerned,” responded Sue.“Tell me about yourself and how you met Jason?” asked Katherine.“Well, my name is Susan Janine Capris, my single mother raise me, and never knew my father. Jay and I met through Heather, as Heather and I were roommates when she first met Jay, Connie, and Rachel. The funny thing is that Heather and I didn’t get along at first, but I liked Jay when I first met him. I was bummed when the girls told me he was gay.”“What attracted you to Jay?”“Right from the beginning, it was his persona. He just made me feel at ease. Within two days of meeting him, I felt like I had known him my whole life. Most guys today have no idea how to carry on a conversation with a lady. Jay was more like talking to one of the girls. I guess that’s why we all just assumed he was gay.”“Well, dear, until yesterday, I would have bet money on my son being gay, and I’m his mother, I’m supposed to know these things,” responded Katherine.“Things happen for a reason, I guess, I mean who knows where any of us would be if not for this happy accident. Jay has been the glue that stuck us together, and I don’t see any of us girls having ever become friends if it wasn’t for Jay.”“How do you mean, dear?”“None of us had anything in common to start. Heather and I didn’t get along, Rachel is a rocker girl, Connie is a debutant, I was a shy wallflower. Connie and Heather both grew up rich, but Connie is sweet and conservative, whereas Heather is wild and crazy. Rachel and I were middle class, but she was a preppy cheerleader, whereas I was a geeky band girl. I mean, you really couldn’t get a different group of girls together if you tried.”“How does Jay fit in?”“I guess you could say that Jay is our focal point. He got us talking and made us realize that our differences were smaller than our similarities. Then when Connie, Heather, and I caught him with Rachel, we were stunned, and I guess a little jealous. We had spent three years not knowing the real Jay, and well, we had shared everything else, so.”
